PATCHWORK

Using modern machines and techniques we no longer have to cut out hundreds of paper templates or baste for miles before quilting, we have never had it so easy!

There are a variety of tools and materials available to the modern Patch-worker and they are all designed to make the basic skills needed for well matched blocks both easier and quicker, come and try some of ours, for example: the rotary cutter for accurate lines and angles makes the matching of seams and points easier.

Use a Walking Foot when quilting the three layers will help to avoid wrinkles when channel sewing or you could try out the Stippling Foot for free motion quilting.

Our block of the month sessions would be an ideal course for those who have never tried piecing or quilting on a sewing machine and we have one-day workshops for those who like a bit more of a challenge.
